I. Allgemeines

Large corporations have a variety of management positions. These positions help ensure that a corporation operates smoothly, from high-level strategy to day-to-day operations.

The „C-suite“

The „C-suite“ is a term widely used and it describes a corporation’s upper level of senior executives and managers. Also known as C-level, it derives from the titles of top senior executives, which tend to start with the letter C, for „chief.“ The C-suite is considered a company’s most important and influential group of individuals. Getting there usually requires significant experience and leadership skills. The top 3 positions in a company are Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Chief Financial Officer (CFO), and Chief Operations Officer (COO).

If a job title includes „Chief“, „Head of“, „Senior“, or „Area Manager“, it means that the position is higher than a job title without it.
